What are the daughters right in her fathers property
02-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
hello sir ,i have a query ,that we r 2 sisters and 2 brothers ,me and my sister have signed on property papers that we don't want share in property forcefully ,in 2002 ,my father was died in 2010. and now i am facing financial crisis ,does these signs applicable ? can i claim for my share.
in 2002, your father was alive, so what was the occasion for both of you to sign those papers. What was your age in the year 2002. if your age was less than 18 years, then signing of the papers is of no consequences. however, if you were major, then signing of the papers in 2002, death of your father in 2010 and you are trying to make the claim in the year 2018. You ought to have done till 2013. But still, you can give it a try. You can file the case against your brothers for claiming your share.
