What action can be taken for unauthorized capture of piece of land

Hi all, I have piece of land without boundary. Since I live outstation, I used to rarely visit my place and due to time and money crisis, I didn't get chance to safe my land premises by doing boundary. Later I come to know that my neighbor has captured my piece of land around the boundaries by 2 feet. He is utilising that piece of land in terms of ladder,balcony,roof boundaries,etc. Can you please suggest me how to get back my land and make my neighbor to feel the legal consequences for what he did deliberately out of his greed? Thanking you in anticipation.
If the construction is in violation of the plans then you may move to local civil court under which the property falls for obtaining a stay order against the illegal construction.
The part of the building which has already come into existence as on the date of filing of the petition can be ordered to be demolished by court.
Alongwith, file a RTI to the municipal corporation to obtain a copy of the sanctioned plan.
