Want to know the law regarding loudspeakers used by temples/ Mosqs etc

22-Jul-2025 (In Property Law)
If a temple is constructed near/ in front of our house at 100 m in other colony, do we need to sell our house to live peacefully to refrain from unexpected n sudden usage of plug-in n play Loudspeakers by them or does law has something to ban usage by them permanently so that we can live peacefully. Very few homes r made nearby having no problem. New house n temple have constructed at the same time. What can I do to live n relax peacefully in our house from their uncertain usage ? Kindly ans. Ty

If a temple is within 100 meters of your house and the noise is disturbing your health or peace, you have the right to take legal action. You can file a complaint with the local police or SDM under Noise Pollution Rules. As per Supreme Court guidelines, loudspeakers at religious places must follow time limits (usually 6 AM to 10 PM) and decibel restrictions. You can also send a legal notice if needed.
