Violation of Right of First Offer for Real Estate Property

12-Oct-2024 (In Property Law)
Hello, We have an ancestral property partitioned around 25 year ago. During partition it was agreed upon than whoever party want to sell his property then they have to first offer to other party. Now they have sold their property to third party without offering us to buy. So what legal steps can be taken. Thank you.

Hello! You should prefer a suit on the basis of the facts narrated. Subject to the other terms both the parties have agreed upon, this is a good case and one must act as swiftly as possible to safeguard the interest to see that the third party also don't sell it further which might makes you run from pillar to post.
