Yes it is necessary and compulsory to register the sale deed. An unregistered sale deed has no value in the eye of law and neither does it pass any title to the lawyer.
The steps involved in registration of a sale deed is-
The steps involved in registration of a sale deed is-
- The sale deed is to be carefully drafted by a legal expert or an advocate.
- Stamp paper as per the circle rate is to be attached.
- Date for registration at the sub-registrar’s office is fixed
- The government registration fee is paid
- Both the buyer and the seller, along with two witnesses are to be present at the sub- registrar’s office on the fixed day for the registration deed
The registered sale deed can be collected after a week.
