Transfer of share of joint paternal property

My grandmother has a joint paternal property with her brothers and sisters... Now she willingly wants to write the property (her share of land) in my father's name... So that my uncle and aunty should not claim later on even after her... As it is a joint paternal property of my grandmother, is it possible??
