Transfer of PARENTAL PROPERTY to legal heirs..........................

My mother died leaving behind one society flat (freehold) in Dwarka Delhi. There is no Will. We are five sisters, legal heirs of this flat. My query is HOW TO GET OWNERSHIP IN THE NAME OF ALL OF US? Afterwards we would like to sell it and distribute the proceed. Kindly tell whole documentation procedure before sale of property.
You will need a legal heir certificate. It may be obtained from a Court or Tehsildar Office as the case may be. The Legal Heir Certificate will contain names of other Legal Heirs too, such as your sisters. After getting the Legal Heir Certificate, an application will have to be made to the local administrative body like the Municipal Corporation or Gram Panchayat as the case may be to alter the existing mutation. hi, you need to get the legal heir certificate from the court and after that you can get the property transfered in your name as respective shares of 1/5 each. you need to get a little of court help and the registrar court too of your respective area.
