Took gold loan didnot pay interest for 3 months bank sent notice

I have taken a gold loan from one of the banks three years before, only from past three months I did not pay the interest,now they sent me a notice stating that they will auction my gold that too within a weeks period, please advise me how to get stay on that....
You need to specify what the bank mentioned in the notice along with the terms of the agreement. Then I can guide you accordingly. As of now it is too half baked for me to advise you from a legal standpoint.
