Succession/name change in shop in pagdi system

Hi, we have a shop in South Mumbai and it was in my father name. He has passed away and there is a Will in my name. Can landlord change the name without any monetary consideration.
you will have to inform your landlord that there is a will in your name for the shop and accordingly he will have his records corrected and the entry of the new entrant.
