Stamp duty on Gift of property to father in law

IS stamp duty payable on registration of Gift deed where a property is gifted by dauther in law to father in law ? This is a Hindu family.
This is my response to you:
1. As per the amendment of the Bombay Stamp Act recently, the state government has increased the stamp duty payable;
2. If it is blood relations then 3%;
3. For every other Gift Deeds the rate is 5%;
4. Discuss your facts more clearly and an informed legal opinion can be given;
