Son staying in mother's house changed registration in his son's name

Mr.X had three daughters and two sons.He purchased an apartment(registered in his own name) and lived there with his youngest son there.After X's death,the youngest stayed there for about 25 years.Now the youngest son wants to change the registeration of the apartment from X's name to his son's name ,can he do so?
If Mr. X died without a Will, then as per the Hindu Succession the property shall devolve equally amongst all childern. Unless all siblings give no objection and executes the relinquish deed in favour of youngest son, till then he cannot transfer the property in his name.
