Society Charging Cultural Fund of Rs 500.00 per annum

I am residing in Navi Mumbai and my society has charged Rs500.00 per annum as Cultural fund as I am not paying the sum society is charging arrears on that sum every month. I am obligated to pay that amount according to by-laws of Maharashtra Society Act. What action can be taken against the society.
dear client, if any society is charging cultural fund it is totally illegal. contribution to cultural fund should be purely voluntary. write to the managing committee of the society and then send them legal notice.
