Signatures required while buying a property from younger brother
02-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
I want to buy a plot which is registered on younger brothers name, he is married and Hindu, have three brothers and one sister and mother is alive, my question is whether at the time of registration signature and consent of all brothers and sisters and mother is required?
If its an self acquired property and the property is in your brothers name then, only your brother's signature is needed. You can transfer the property by way of gift deed in your favour. Since stamp duty and registration charges are less when compared to sale deed.
