Share certificate of vendor is lost

01-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello Sir I have bought a commercial shop from my brother by a registered sale deed. He has handed over the share certificate of society to me. But i have lost it. I have paid the transfer fee to society and submitted the copy of sale deed as well. Now what is the legal procedure for the society, to transfer that property on my name and how can i obtain share certificate on my name?

Respected sir

If you have lost original share certificate then you have to 1st get nc copy from local police station and then you have to give public notice in 2 local news paper about lost of original share certificate and then you have to apply with society for duplicate share certificate

This is my response to you:
1. Ask the society to issue you a duplicate certificate;
2. Make the mutation entry in the same;
3. Also make sure you have paid all fees to society;
4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
