SC/ST land Purchased 30 Years Ago Without DM Permission

A piece of land of ST /SC was purchased 30 years ago by my grandfather with registration or Notary but without DM permission. Now it's been transferred in my name. Now Son/Grandson of Seller's are warning us to file Case. Do seller's family still have any rights on land we purchased 30 years ago..? Till now no construction is done. What are outcomes if seller files case and claims back for land .?
see a land was purchased 39 years ago without sdm tehsildars permission now the sellers son grandson are threatening to file case . people or purchaser will check the title deed if the seller fights for the land so that will be time barred
