Right of married daughter in her parents property

16-May-2023 (In Property Law)
My father died in August-2016. He was a teacher by profession. He had transferred his landed property in my mother and brother's name. He sold his ancestral property in 2015. My mother and brother are likely to deny me any share in the property. Can i claim my right in my parents' property.

You will have to file an application to obtain a legal heir certificate from the office of tehsildar. Also, after obtaining the same you can file a suit for partition in the jurisdictional Civil court.

Yes you can claim for rights in your father's property.. you are equally owner of your father's property like your brother. File a partition suit in civil court giving all the property details and your claim
