My grandfather received his agricultural property through partition with his father and brother through Hindu partition deed..He died without writing will. He has 3 legal heirs.( My Grandmother, My father and my aunt). My grandmother and my father wishes to transfer their share of property to me. Can we do release deed or settlement deed for this transfer?

As your grandfather acquired the property through a partition, it became his absolute and exclusive one, and not an ancestral inheritance. After his death, his estate devolved equally on all his surviving legal heirs - your grandmother, and your aunt and your father. If they wish so, your grandmother and your father may convey their respective undivided shares (2/3) in your favour by means of a deed of relinquishment.
