If it is agriculture land then take copies of the revenue records from the tehsildar or patwari.
If it is residential and situated under village then take copies of the patta from the gram panchayat.
If situated under semi urban/urban area then concerned UIT/ Municipality/ Municipal Corporation/ Development authority.
