Registration request from Old buyer

20-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi. I sold my flat 10 yrs ago & signed a sale agreement against the flat cost. The buyer never registered the property in these 10 years. Now the buyer is contacting me to give signatures for his regstration after 10 years. Am not sure if i should provide my sign for free or should i charge him for this legally.

This is my response to you:
1. You can ask for your travelling and inconvenience charges;
2. You can also charge for your legal fees;
3. Strictly speaking it is better for you both to register the property smoothly so that it does not cause any IT returns problems;
4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
