We have negotiated to buy a Flat with the promoter and to register the UDS
at buyers cost.
While registering, is the fee to be paid for builder's agreement to be borne by
the buyer only? We are HINDUS of Tamilnadu.
Yes, all the charges incidental to registration of the sale deed, such as stamp duty and registration charges, have to be borne by the buyer, normally. The religion to which the buyer belongs does not matter in any way for the purpose. However, you may negotiate with the seller for sharing the costs.
