Regarding mutation of the plots
23-Dec-2024 (In Property Law)
In 1956 my father grandfather received some property as a gift.My age is 27 now and my father age is 50 where I am living outside my home from childhood whereas my father is also living outside the home till when he passed 10th exam.as per the records on paper we have more than 150plots on our name but after visiting the area we came to know that our whole property was sold by our grandparents and nothing is left.when we demand to show them the paper than no one is showing the papers.what to do?
If you have discovered that your family’s property was sold without your knowledge and the papers are not being shown, you should first gather any available documents to support your claim. Then, send a legal notice demanding clarification and production of the sale records. If fraud is suspected, file an FIR with the police. You can also file a civil suit for possession in court, seeking to reclaim the property. Additionally, inquire with the local land revenue department and sub-registrar about the sale, and consider publishing a public notice.
