Regarding life threatening risk because of overloaded vehicles
10-Apr-2025 (In Property Law)
My house is situated at the boundry (Phirni) of my village from where a narrow path of about 3 karms arises towards the agricultural fields. I am facing a life threatening risk because of illegally overloaded vehicles coming from the fields which weighs hundreds of tons and it happened multiple times that these vehicles scratches my house while passing and we had a narrow escape. I have submitted complaint to local police station but no action taken. can I file a case in district court about it
Yes, you can file a case in the Court to stop the movement of illegally overloaded vehicles near your house, as it poses a threat to life and property. Since your complaints to the police have gone unanswered, you may also approach the SDM for removal of public nuisance, Collect evidence like photos, videos, and past complaints to support your case.
