Refund of booking amount for flat sale against Cancellation. Advice.

15-Dec-2023 (In Property Law)
I had recently booked a flat at a MahaRERA registered project, but I have cancelled the booking before execution of the agreement for sale. On booking form (signed by me) there is a condition that amount paid shall be returned withing six months from date of cancellation. But in Proforma Allotment letter uploaded by builder on MahaRERA site, they have mentioned that they shall refund within 30 days. So how can I demand refund from the builder ? Can I complaint to RERA authority about this issue ?

Initially you can demand the builder/developer for refund within 30 days. You can lodge a complaint with the RERA authority and bring to their notice about the fraudulent activities of the builder/developer. You can also approach Consumer Forum.
