Refund from Mane Developers (not responding when asked to refund)

We booked a plot (Mane Palms in KARJAT) in 2015 with booking amount rs. 400000/= & the plan was abruptly cancelled. We want to get refund as soon as possible because the developer is not responding to us. Kindly give us suggestion to proceed further.
This is my response to you:
1. Firstly send a legal notice to him;
2. Then if he does not respond, then approach RERA if project was RERA registered;
3. You can also file an FIR at police station;
4. Last step approach consumer court;
5. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.

I suggest you quickly raise a claim. If the payment was made before November, the matter for recovery is well beyond limitation period of 3 years. Contact a local lawyer at the earliest. Criminally, you can file a cheating case on the builder. Move ASAP as the matter is already beyond limitation.
