Recieved possession of wrong property can I claim the original

my father purchase an land of 0.20hac in vill-shankerpur hukumatpur,sahaspur,vikasnager ,dehradun,uttarakhand in year 1999 but the seller gave me position on wrong khasra because the khasra sale to my father was been saled by the seller to someone else in year 1988 with nothing rakbaa left in it ,presently we have our house on the wrong khasra, both the buyer & seller were dead ,the khasra in which i am living is on name of seller's grandson because seller's son died before seller please tell me what to do.
Firstly, check with the sub-registrar office that the original property which you claim to be yours is in your name or not. if its in your name ask the local authorities how to take the possession of the property.
Secondly, where you are staying you say is in the name of sellers son, then get it transferred in your name or claim the one which you want.
