PROPERTY WAS GIFTED BY MY FATHER BY GIFT OF DEED, TOOK OVER BY UNCLE

25-Feb-2025 (In Property Law)
Hi sir/mam, My father made a gift of deed on 2007 and transfered his property on my name with love and affection and after few years he passed away in 2009, Now when i checked the status of the property through SDM offce, the property is registered on my uncle my fathers real brothers name. I do have the original gift of deed document. What am I supposed to do to claim the property back and is it possible that the property will be on my name again like it was earlier..

If the property is gifted to you first then the property belongs solely to Younus not your uncle and vice Versa! If property isn’t under your possession then we need to office your uncle a notice followed by suit for possession Kindly be in touch

Based on your query, it appears that your uncle may have fraudulently transferred the property to his name. To gain clarity on the situation, you should approach the relevant sub-registrar's office to trace the title chain. This will provide you with a detailed understanding of the transaction. Once you have this information, please don’t hesitate to contact us, and we will assist you in determining the appropriate next steps.
