Property Under construction and banakhat done

31-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
I have booked 2 bhk under construction flat and total price 23 lakh (All charges included). Banakhat registered with 17 lakh and 6 lakh money in black. When I booked that time builder sales team commitment to give possession in December 2023. As per RERE date March 2025. I have paid 2 lakh black money and builder asking remaining 4 lakh money and possession by end of 2024. If I pay 4 lakh black money I don't have any evidence. As per my banakhat deal with 17 lakh. What should I do now June-2023

You have already paid 2 lakhs in not so promising way. Use the same trust and pray for the best outcome. Alternatively, you can ask the builders to agree in writing whatever their commitment is, to protect your future prospects. Builders generally have a legal team working for them. In your best interest, you also need a legal advisor on your side to deal with such difficult legal issues that may arise. Next time, seek advise before you decide to pay for unbilled amount. Advocates cannot change what's already done. We do not learn magic in our academics. Trust in deity, but use ordinary prudence for the upcoming translations. What you may do now - depends on what all papers and relevant documents do you have handy. Let me see them once and I may advice on this. Feel free to contact me.
