Property title change of deceased husband

Sir, my husband recently passed way and I'm co applicant of housing loan and I paid outstanding loans.but as per legal heirs my mother in law wants to register title of the property. Is it possible to transfer the title of the property to my name. This only property we have but she is having house and plot in her name. Please advise.thanks
After the death of your husband, in the absence of a Will, his mother also entitled as a Class I legal heirs to an undivided share in the property. It is her legal right. Even if she owns any other property, she is legally entitled.
