Your brother’s widow does not automatically have a right to half of your father’s property, as she is only entitled to her husband’s share if your father has passed away. Since your father is still alive, she has no claim to his property. Upon your father’s death, his property would be divided among his legal heirs, including you and possibly your brother’s widow, but only as part of your brother’s share. To clarify the situation, you can either send a legal notice or, if necessary, file for a partition in court. Consulting a property lawyer will help you navigate the legal process and protect your rights.
