Hi, I am planning to buy a property in Delhi, with myself as well as my parents as joint owners. Is the joint ownership stamp duty fixed at 5% for all 3 of us combined? or do we have to pay 6% + 5% (parent)?
Will registration charge be 1% in total or 1%+1%+1% for all 3 combined?
As per the latest notification available, the rate is fixed at 5% in the case of joint ownership. The registration charge will be 1% even in case of joint ownership. Note- The minimum time to register property is 20 days. Thank you.
