Property possession and registry

I have got Offer of possession letter from the builder for the property booked by me. I have been asked to settle the dues in 1 month. Is it compulsory for me to do registry within 1 month? Is it mandatory to do registry on Sale value only? What if I sell rent the property without registry??

Yes, it is mandatory for the tax purposes to execute the said registry on the sale value.Also, it is not mandatory to settle the said dues in a month. It is advisable to buy the said property with registry as, it confers a proper legal status to the property.
