Property mutation after father's death

My name is Kannan and I have 1 elder sister, My father died in an accident leaving property without any will. We want to transfer property into my mother's name. I want to know the procedure and whether stamp duty charges and registration fees is required for transferring if so what would be charges for transferring.

yes since your father is the absolute owner of the property you all three have equal shares I. the property is now intestate ,when did he die , after his death did you apply for legal heirs ship certificate then you have to partition the property the deed in your father's name has to be looked into there fore the procedure according to law
