Property mentioned in the will, not getting the share. What to do?

My grandfather named my father and his younger son in his will.Now that his younger son and his wife and son beats him up abuse him he don't want to give them anything.We are helpless sir.Police also just listens or may be taking bribe from them and doing nothing.Help ASAP.We are hindu.

You can file a case for injunction along with probate of the will asking for your share. The court would grant you the share mentioned in the WIll. You can also lodge a FIR against them for beating you and file a criminal case as well.

Hello,

If your grandfather is still alive he can amend the will, the amendment is known as codicil. An amendment to a will is called a codicil. It can be used to add or delete provisions or substitute a new provision for one that's already in the will. A codicil must be signed in the same way as your original will: with witnesses, intent, and mental capacity. That can be easily done in the registrar office where the will was registered originally.
