Property matter:what to do

13-Apr-2023 (In Property Law)
we are cultivating a land since 33 years. One of the person in my village saying that the land belongs to me. Actually my grandfather was illiterate and at that time his not registered the land on his name. other person whoever saying that the land is mine was literate so his intelligently registered the land on his wife name. my grandfather was expired and the other person is alive. We met the land sellers and asked what happened actually at the time of selling ago 33 years. They said that we are saled for your grandfather and the agreement is written on papers. At that time we haven’t any bond papers. Other person is literate and his intelligently registered on his wifes name without knowing to your grandfather. Presently also, we are cultivating TEAK trees in that land. The other person trying to cut the trees and went for permission, to the MRO office saying that the land is mine and I planted the trees. We have no registration papers or anything except motor power billings.

You will have to gather all the legal documents supporting your claim such as electricity bills, tax receipts and the agreement on which the sale of the said property was mentioned 33 years ago. Also, you can claim your ownership right by filing a declaration suit in the jurisdictional civil court.
