Property distribution of property earned by my ex father

Property earned by my ex-father.At present in name of mother and we are two brother and one sister. I am youngest and my mother has put a case and want to shift all property in name of my eleder brothers sons (Her grand sons). I am helpless as have only two daughters. Kindly suggest...
Is your father alive or not? Has he expired or they are divorced. If your father has died then the property will be given equally to the legal heir. If the property is in the name of mother then she can give it to anybody she wishes to.
