Property dispute among siblings

27-Mar-2024 (In Property Law)
Respected Sir, I have one elder Sister, one elder brother. Both my Parents are alive. My sister was elder to all of us and she got married in November-1983. My Parents has house and commercial land. Both these properties are in some dispute (the land of the properties belongs to endowments department). These two properties are registered on my Dad's name. If my Dad wish to give these properties either to me or to my Brother, after my dad's dismissal can my sister object that she had share.

hi alocious here, I can well understand your concern from the query raised, it depends on the nature of the property if the property is self acquired then your father may share or bequeath his property as he pleases, if it's ancestral than the property will have to be shared with your sister, thank you, you can contact me for further clarifications, thank you
