Procedure to transfer power of attorney of property

23-Jul-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello. I recently lost my father to a heart attack. My question here is that he had a power of attorney to a property that was in the name of his sister and him. Is sister is settled in the US and hasn't been a part of the family or the property. Can the POA be transferred to my mother for us to sell the property?

you have to share the details of the property like its location etc. and also the reason as to why his sister's name is their in the Power of Attorney, once you claim that she has not been a part of the family or the property. The general law of Power of Attorney says that once the executent or the power of attorney dies, the document becomes null and void. under the general circumstance, you shall be required to approach the registered owner for execution of another proper document to the extent of share of your father.
