Procedure to get certified copy of gift deed in sub registrar office

Hai sir I am sunni Muslim as we r 2 brothers and my father had made gift deed when he was alive stating the property in 2 brothers name.now since my father is died my brother have kept all originals with him. So can I get the copy from sub registers office. What is the procedure. What will b cost of that. Can I file a partition suit. Will able to get my share.

Yes you can get certified copy of any deed if registered. Per page in Bangalore sub registrar offices is Rs.20 per page n minimum of Rs.120/-.

If it was a gift in both your names, and if your brother as usurped your share wrongly, then it is not a partition case but a suit for declaration n possession.

Yes, in your case,it is possible to get a copy from the subregistred office,if not possible from subregisterer office then also be possible to file a case against of your brother,it is not cleared that when your father died.

answer:-
you have to apply directly or through RTI you will get copy from the Sub register office. after getting the copy you have to file the suit before the court
