Procedure for the partition of father's property without the will.

My father passed away in 1992 without a will. We are four sisters and one brother. Who has the claim on property...my mother or my brother or all of us. How can we get a registery of the house

After the death of your father and without any will, your all are entitle for equal share in the property of your father, you need a death certificate to show to the registrar of properties, he will order to transfer the same at your name..

You all are share holders in the property of your father including your sisters and mother. And if you wish to sell the house you all have to join to execute the sale deed in favour of the seller or you can get power of attorney from your sisters and mother.
