Power of attorney security in purchase of SRA Flat

Hi,
I want to buy SRA Flat in a 2 year old SRA Scheme building .my father has flat in same building & we currently staying there. Is buying property through power of attorney agreement of mutual understanding is completely safe I..if real owner can make trouble to us after completion of 10 years .

This is my response to you:
1. The flat cannot be sold before 10 years;
2. Till then that person can offer it to you on rent;
3. A POA will not transfer ownership;
4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.
