Possession of a property (residential house) after I bought it

I purchased a house and got it registered in my name. I allowed the seller and the tenants (who he engaged prior to registration), on his request to stay for few more months. Now he refuses to vacate. Under which Sections, can I file a case?

hi alocious here, from your query I can very well understand your concern, firstly I need to know has there been a rental agreement entered and registered between you and the tenant? if yes we can issue a notice and have him vacated, if not we will have to file a petition under RCLT 2022 to get him evicted, you can contact me for further legal aid. thank you
