Plan for individual house construction

Hello Sir,
We had taken approval from municipal office for our house, but it isn't completed as per the plan. Its an individual house. Plan was passed for a 1BHK two storey house, but now we have got constructed two seperate 2BHK houses(only one storey now). So I would like to know what could be the consequences we may face? Also, what could be the solution for the same? Thank you.
As per the query in law rato if you have a Revised to the municipal office and gets its approved as it is already sanctioned as two stories so get the plan as per the new plan and gets it approved from the municipal .
