Now society will transfer share certificate of my deceased father in my name. Do I need to pay any stamp duty or registration fee? Do I need to pay any transfer fees or any other legal fees to society? My flat is located in Dombivli, thane district, Maharashtra.

This is my response to you:
1. You will need to bring all the legal heirs on record;
2. If there are legal heirs then you need to enter into a release deed of all living legal heirs;
3. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.

no...once the share certificate is issued in your name..you are the owner of the property...if there is any other documentation that is to be done from you end then in that case you will have to pay but other than that no charges are applicable..
