Partition of a land and gifting to sister - Resale question

I have a property of 3000 square feet which includes two plots. Now I want to give one plot (1500 square feet) to my sister. I prefer going with gift deed as the fees is 1% for stampduty and 1% for registration fee as we both are sisters (family). In this case, when she wishes to resell the land to somebody, should I sign again during that transaction? I was told like this by a friend and wanted to confirm whether it is true.
hi Felix here, I can well understand your concern from the query raised, once you make a settlement deed to your sister, the land is deemed to have been sold with absolute title and ownership transferred to your sister so you would not be required to sign again, thank you
