Ownership of land not in government records and not having an owner

Between mine and a relatives land property is a strip of land that is not mentioned in any of the gov records and that do not have any owner. I want to know whether it ll b taken over by the government or it is to be shared between the neighbouring land owners
You will have to apply for the demarcation of the property in the office of the Tehsildar of your Taluk. Also, in the given situation, you will have to look into the area of the said strip, after applying for demarcation of the property, the tehsildar will provide you with the exact area of your property. Also, the tehsildar will provide you with the information of the land owner of that strip. Otherwise the said strip will be divided equally between both the owners of the adjacent property.
