NRI Power of Attorney for selling property in Gurgaon

Me and my wife own a flat in Gurgaon, We both are US Citizen living USA. We want to sell this property. We are unable to travel to India right now. Can we send a Power of Attorney to one of my friend in India to handle the sale?
