No possession date mentioned in the sale agreement what can I do

Hi, i Have recently bought one under construction property at mira road. I also did registration for the same . I was going through my agreement and i found that builder has not mentioned the possession date in agreement. Please suggest on this. 1. How this can be rectified 2. what are the steps to follow. 3. what are the Law's to protect buyer interest. Builder has not given any thing in writing for possession date but his sales office says that project will be completed by Aug - Sept 2016 and will provide you possession at same time.
In case of delay in the possession as promised by the builder representatives you can file a consumer case against the builder. If there is no possession date mentioned in the sale agreement still you can file a consumer complaint regarding the promise made by you by the builder representative regarding unreasonable delay.
