Nieghbour forcing to leave my home to construct a private road, advise

Hi, we have only walking way from last 50 years in front of our home. now a neighbor is forcing us to leave our land to construct a private road till his home. they’re not willing to buy or pay for the land just forcing us to leave the land for the road.Our home is in a village and its a agricultural land. Please suggest what best we can do as per the law.
You are walking in the same road since 50 years no need to vacating, you can file suit and get injection or stay . They can take legally. If they are forcing you, you can file a criminal complaint against them. Consult more
