Name transfer with help of affidavit

My in-laws bought a house in affordable housing society Gurgaon few yrs back in my name( daughter in law). They got a affidavit made stating that they can use or sell property as per their convenience and i would have no role in it. I signed it bcz situation was different that time.Now since my husband and I are
in talks of divorce. I fear that they may use affidavit to get it transferred in their name or sell it.
Pls advise if its possible to use that property on their discretion?

Hello,
Could you please clarify the type of affidavit they have had executed? If the sale deed is registered in your name, they cannot legally impose any conditions on you post-sale. Any such conditions would have no legal validity.
