my father kept grand father as nomiee who has expired

08-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
Hello, The house has been transferred to my mothers name after father who also expired, however my father kept my grandfather as 20% nominee. Is the nomination still applicable as he has expired. What i need to do to remove the Grandfathers name from the list as i want to change the title to my name. Is the Grandfather nomination liable after death. Because if i go to my uncle for No objection, they will definitely ask for money. Please suggest suitable solution for me

Respected sir/madam,

After death of your father if flat transfer in the name of your mother then earlier nomination will not consider.
If you wish to transfer flat in your name then you have not require noc from your uncle.

This is my response to you:
1. Nomination does not transfer ownership;
2. You will require the uncle's NOC;
3. Though he has no claim over it;
4. Consult a local lawyer, discuss full facts and take steps.
